Jurassic World Live Tour – Review
Last December I posted about the Jurassic World Live Tour coming to Orlando and we were invited to watch the first show last Friday night so I wanted to write a quick review because so many people have asked me about it since seeing our photos on social media.
The Jurassic World Live Tour was only in Orlando from January 17 – 20, 2020. Sorry I’m posting this when the show is already over for my Orlando readers. But you can check out the other cities on the tour here, it is running nationwide until December 2020 – and here’s to hoping it comes back to Orlando next year!
Before going to the show, I had obviously seen the photos and videos of the show to promote the tour here on my blog and on their Instagram page. So we were already excited and this live show DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
The Storyline
So, I am not a huge fan of the movies and I was told that the storyline was not an exact match to the movie but what I did like is that the lead character (aside from the dinosaurs) is a very smart female!
The Effects
I was not expecting the fire, the fog, the motorcycle races/stunts or the background video! Absolutely incredible effects!
The Dinosaurs
These dinosaurs were incredibly made, even I got excited when I saw the T-Rex come out! The smaller dinosaurs (Blue and Jeanie) had actors inside them (with each one weighing about 120 pounds, I am not sure how the actors did it!)
Overall
Our 5 year old dinosaur-lover never took his eyes of the show from start to finish!
The show was not too short or too long and did a great job at not including too much as to where you were confused at what was happening. We loved the show, there was so much action and adventure, we hope it comes back to Orlando soon!
