Camp Jiaire! Camping Themed Birthday Party
Our sweet boy is turning 5 tomorrow! We have taken him camping before and he absolutely loved it and has been begging us to take him again ever since, so we decided to throw him a SURPRISE camping party at our family camp and he was beyond excited! This birthday party theme was right up my alley and it was so easy to pull off!
I made these cute little invitations to match the camping party theme and while the kids would have been happy as could be just climbing the trees and running around the woods, of course I had to have a few fun planned activities, this cute scavenger hunt for the kids to walk around camp and find everything listed.
We grilled some authentic camping food, burgers and hot dogs and ate them at the decorated picnic table complete with a campfire centerpiece and wood votive candles, after dinner we set up chairs around the campfire and roasted marshmallows.
The cupcake stand on the cake display table was handmade by my uncle from a tree he had recently chopped down in his yard.
We made little campfire cupcakes by adding fire colored buttercream with pretzel sticks and marshmallows.
This camping party was SO much fun! Jiaire really loved it and it was so much better that we were able to actually camp overnight in the woods at our family’s camp! He loves camping so much that my mom even got him an indoor tent for his bedroom so he can camp all year round!
