Southshore Bay Lagoon - A Hidden Gem!

Last week my family and I were invited to visit the clear waters of Southshore Bay Lagoon and we had a blast! Southshore Bay Lagoon, located in Wimauma, is the second man-made lagoon in the Tampa area.

The lagoon is 5 acres of paradise and fun, it combines the fun of a pool, beach, and water park all into one place making it a relaxing and fun spot for everyone in the family. There is a floating water obstacle course, paddleboards, kayaks, cabanas, a splash pad, a water slide, and even a couple of floating AquaBanas. The crystal clear lagoon is fun for all ages and they even have food trucks, a lagoon bar (and a swim-up bar!), live music, and lawn games

What’s Included

Included with your visit is a day on a tropical beach paradise, swimming in clear blue waters, endless thrills on our water slide, and access to our resort-style swim-up bar.

Additional experiences such as the water obstacle course, kayaks, and paddle boards must be booked separately and are not included with your Day Pass. Passes can be purchased online HERE.

Here is the luxurious aquabana. They seat 6 people comfortably and no more than 10 people are allowed on at one time.

Fun for Everyone in the Family!

We had such an amazing time swimming in the lagoon, and watching the kids play on Gasparilla Island in the sand and shallow waters. My oldest loved doing the Kayaks and paddleboarding with his dad and he even did the obstacle course with me!
