This is where I bring you a little piece of my passions in life, one post at a time. My blog is my outlet for creativity and fosters my passion for connecting with like-minded mamas around the world! I believe in sharing life’s authentic moments with you, as I find there needs to be more of that in this social media driven world. You’ll find a bit of everything on here, from motherhood in all its glory to local things to do and everything inbetween. If you like laughing and keeping it real, you’ve come to the right place.
What is the reason behind the relaunch/new blogging journey?
In the early days my platform kind of accidentally turned into a stepmom platform because that was very real and raw in that moment of my life but now a few years have passed, a lot has changed/evolved and while I love what my platform brought me and the incredible women I connected with but the issue now is that I don’t want to talk about being a stepmom anymore…
Yup. I am tired of talking about my experience as a stepmom.
Years later I have just accepted the challenges of my stepmom role, this is my life. I don’t want to keep rehashing the difficulties and I kind of don’t have to, right? I am no longer in the “giving people too much power over me and my life” part of my life, the stepmom stressors don’t bother me like they used to. I am secure in my role as my stepsons “other” mom. I don’t worry about who is reading what I am sharing, how people view me or my role anymore because at the end of the day, I’m just not responsible for how people digest my words, my story, my feelings or my journey.
I have realized that it’s 100% OKAY to tell your story how it really is but it is also OKAY to be more, want more and share more. I am not defined by my role as a stepmom, so why would this space be?
What topics you can expect to see on the new blog:
Family, Wine, Travel, Local things to do and places to eat, Fashion, Food, Parenting, Blended Family (much requested by a lot of you). A little bit of everything and a whole lot of real.
I want to show you all of it, the good, bad and the ugly.
I appreciate every single one of you being here with me and sharing this journey of life with me so I owe you that much.
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for being so loyal. Thank you for being patient with me as I took a break from blogging to navigate new motherhood, working motherhood and soak up all the first moments as a new little family of 4, I am so happy that you are still here and reading this post!
