Southern Hill Farms – Fall Festival
We visited Southern Hill Farms a few weekends ago to kick off our fall season and we had so much fun!
We had lots of fun looking at all the different pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. They had a wide variety of beautiful and unique pumpkins of all sizes and colors, corn stalks, Indian corn, gourds and more.
Their farm made frozen blueberry lemonade was amazing! So much flavor and the perfect treat to cool down with. They had other treats such as apple cider donuts, frozen and hot apple cider, blueberry cobbler, pumpkin muffins that they were selling in the Southern Hill Bakery that were made from berries grown at the farm too. They also had a cute little shop with their handmade lotions, sugar scrubs, lip balms, bar soaps, and hand poured candles.
Included in the admission were farm wagon rides, pumpkin patch barn, yard games, a children’s playground, fire pits, touch-a-tractor, giant fun slide, cyclone swing, inflatable sports games and jump Pillows. (check these out in the video below)
Sunflower and zinnia u-pick! They were selling for $1/stem zinnias, $2/stem sunflowers.
The fall festival runs until November 8th 2020 and tickets must be purchased online in advance. For more information visit: https://southernhillfarms.com/events/
