Wine Bar George (Disney Springs) Review

As one of 249 Master Sommeliers, George Militotes brings his wine expertise to this new concept to Disney Springs. With over 130 wines available by the bottle, glass, or ounce, this is sure to be a popular location for those who enjoy the rich flavor of wines from around the world. This wine bar is one of my favorite spots and was one of USA Today’s Top 10 Best New Restaurants in America this year!

With 2 floors and space for 200 guests, this location offers something for everyone, be it a social night out with friends at one of the two bars or large tables or a nice date night at one of the small tables out of the upper floor patio.

Left: Chicken Skewers ($13) Center: House Made Meatballs ($14) Right: Grilled Romaine ($12)

The food was so yummy! The grilled romaine was served warm with a creamy dressing and pecorino cheese crisps as garnish. The chicken skewers were grilled to perfection and coated with Japanese togarachi sauce, usually a blend of red chili powder, ground Japanese pepper, zested orange peel, black and white sesame seeds, hemp seeds, and ginger. The house made meatballs are made with fresh beef that begins to melt in your mouth. They are laid on a bed of triple cheese polenta and topped with a rustic tomato sauce.

Wine Bar George offers 10% lunch discounts for DVC Members, D23 Members, Annual Passholders and is 1 Table Service meal on the Disney Dining Plan. For more information and reservations visit WineBarGeorge.com
