Strawberry Hot Cocoa Recipe

While freezing temps don’t reach Florida, I love to make cozy recipes during the holidays. My oldest and I loved making this festive strawberry hot cocoa (see the video below).

Recipe

• 2 cups whole milk
• 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/4 strawberry jam (seedless)
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• Whipped cream for topping (optional)

1. Combine milk and cocoa powder in a medium saucepan.
2. Whisk constantly over medium-low heat until dissolved, about 3-5 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat and whisk in strawberry jam and vanilla extract.
4. Pour evenly between two mugs Top with whipped cream (if desired) and serve.
