I Got My DNA Tested!

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to have DNA tested. I ordered the Ancestry DNA kit on my own because I wanted to know where my ancestors are from. If you’re new to the blog, then you probably don’t know but I am British. My parents are both from England and I moved to the states in 2008.

I’ve always been curious as to where my parent’s ancestors are from. I’ve heard many stories and assumptions as to where they MAY possibly have come from based on stories their family told them. That’s when I decided it was time to get my DNA tested.

Why I Chose to Have My DNA Tested

Both my mother and father have quite unique last names, with my moms even having Spanish ties so I knew that her family had to be more.

When I saw my results I was a little shocked.

Greg also decided to get his DNA tested, he has an interesting background and was curious. We both thought it would be amazing to tell our future children where both of our families are originally from.
