Alvin and The Chipmunks Birthday Party
This year, my son asked for an Alvin and the Chipmunks birthday party, and honestly, it felt so fitting for who he is right now. Loud laughter, big personality, lots of music, and that spark of excitement that only little kids seem to have. It wasnβt about a perfect theme or over-the-top details. It was about celebrating him exactly where he is in this season of life.
From the moment we started planning, I kept reminding myself that this party didnβt need to impress anyone else. It just needed to feel fun, familiar, and full of joy. And thatβs exactly how it turned out.
Not to mention, there is absolutely nothing available with this theme, so I had to DIY everything myself anyway!

The front door featured a “VIP stage door entrance” sign, which you can see here, and the Alvin and the Chipmunks printed backdrop was purchased from AliExpress (you can find it here). I custom-made the logo in the matching font and added my kiddo’s name, then just taped it to the backdrop. So cute!
For the table, I used the coolest table covering, added guitar snack trays and inflatable guitar and microphone props, as well as some fun printed movie quotes.
I created custom VIP backstage passes on these lanyards and added a custom welcome sign with my son in the band and some fun superstar glasses for guests to wear and take home! I also created a super fun activity mat with coloring, tic-tac-toe, and a word search.
Of course, we had custom cookies by Drea’s Petite Sweets here in Orlando. She is truly the best, the designs and the taste are AMAZING every time!
