Family Fun at Glazer Children’s Museum

I had heard about Glazer Children’s Museum a while back and couldn’t wait to take my family so when we finally got the chance too, we jumped on it and we weren’t disappointed! This facility is absolutely incredible – with 2 stories of interactive exhibits, places for littles to run and play & get their energy out, and tons of hands on experiments and activities to choose from.

As you enter the museum, the highlight of the first floor is the large water play area with various weather simulations, boat navigation, and water flow areas. This was a huge hit, all three of us had fun in this area, especially with the weather simulator.

Along with the large water’s Journey exhibit, the first floor offered a unique rubber “sandbox” area – thankfully, this is much easier to clean off than real sand!

As you walk up to the second floor there is a large climbing structure for the kids to conquer, even daddy got in this one!

The second floor of the museum featured “pretend play” with a firehouse, hospital, pet clinic, Publix, Outback, theater, news station, and more.

Jiaire enjoyed every single exhibit and played for hours. His favorites were the firehouse, the restaurant, and shopping in Publix. I love getting to watch him find so much joy in activities that are really teaching him so much, but all they feel is the FUN that they are enjoying!

The very last exhibit we visited was the “Who will you thank” spinning wheel, Ji landed on the “museum workers” so he wrote his thank you note and hung it on the wall.

After we finally convinced Ji to head outside, we enjoyed a bit of the beautiful River Walk. The Glazer Museum is located right on River with an interactive fountain, playground, and large field right outside the door.

After a fun afternoon, I can say with confidence that the Glazer Children’s Museum is a perfect place for young families to make memories and learn new things.
