I recently discovered this amazing program, and let me tell you, I am so excited for Reign to play this Fall season! He’s always been a ball of energy, bouncing off the walls and begging to be outside.
What is Little Swans Rugby?
Little Swans Rugby, is a non-contact rugby program specifically designed for kiddos aged 3-9 and to be fun, engaging, and educational! These non-contact rugby sessions also teach children basic rugby skills while promoting teamwork and fair play.
These rugby sessions also teach core life skills like respect, discipline, and sportsmanship and are led by experienced Rugby players and certified so you know you are in good hands! All sessions and lesson plans will be overseen by Founder, Dan Swan, who has an extensive background in Rugby and has played throughout school and University in England.
You can learn more about them here.
Okay, But What is Rugby?
Rugby is a bit like a mix of football and basketball but with more tackling and less stopping, of course, Little Swans Rugby sessions are non-contact.
As a British expat, Rugby is a big part of our culture and was a big part of school life, we would play on the field, mud and all, and learn how to work together as a team. I love that I get to introduce my son to a piece of home here in Orlando.
